In September 2004 the Radnor Hunt Pony Club board of directors made the very difficult decision to not go forward with the 2005 horse trials because the timing of the event (mid-July) is not compatible with our pony club calendar. Our horse trials date falls right between a very intense rally competition season (two of which are held on our grounds) and the United States Pony Club national championships. As such, by mid-July our volunteer and parent resources are completely tapped out, and our grounds are in highest demand by our membership for pony club activities. We made the decision because we think it is best for our
